Here I will do my best to teach you the language of the Ziforenites-- Zie'oe. On this page, I will add simple phrases and conversations as well as the grammar rules, while on the "Zie'oe Dictionary" page, I will discuss each individual word, some in more detail than others. Enjoy!
The Zifoerenites have their own script which would make the spelling of many of these words different, but I will do my best to spell each word as phonetically as possible and explain the spelling if need be. When an "e" is seen after a vowel, creating a double vowel, the first vowel should be considered long, and single vowels should be considered short. "R's" are slightly rolled.
"Common" Words and Phrases
Want to say "Hello" to a Zifoerenite? Now you can. Simply wave and say "Zozae." And there you are! You've said your first word in the language of Zie'oe.
To say "Good day," you would say "im luemroroe." That's a pretty good start to a conversation, but, of course, you'd want to introduce yourself. "Keekae ofae et..." means "my name is." From here there are many directions your conversation could go, but when it's all over and you are ready to say farewell, you can tell your new friend "osh" and part ways with an informal "goodbye." And there you have it. Your first conversation with a Ziforenite! : )
Rules
Tense: To make a word past or future tense, simply add the words for past or future (Roz and Zoer respectively) to the beginning of the word. The word for present (Roroe) may be added in special cases.
